Dogathon 2008

Last Sunday, I went to the Dogathon 2008 at UPM, Serdang.
This event started at 7.30 a.m., so mummy woke me up early that morning.
got my Russell in the car and we headed to UPM.

On the way, we got lost, we went the wrong way.
so finally got the correct direction from my brother's friend.
reached there, saw so many kind of dogs, some are sooo cute :D

Got register for the games and stuff, & get ready for the race.
my brother's friend is studying in UPM, so she help us do everything.
she is so friendly and cute, she's studying as a veteran. *ooohh*

This is Snoopy, a spritz, it's alrdy 10 years old.
Snoopy was a experiment for the veterans, suppose to put to sleep.
but my brother's friend took it home, Snoopy is a very friendly dog :D


Get ready, 1..2...3... GO!!

Russell got 5th place in the dogathon, I'm so proud of him.
and there is this Jack Russell, named Groovy got first place.
Groovy is Malaysia #1 dog agility, very smart and quick.

That tattoo on her is Groovy, his smiley face :D
I want to be like her, she is a dog trainer, woots !

After the race, PetnYou presented a dog show to us.
the show was great, the dogs all so smart man.

The owner doesnt need to give instructions, he can do everything.

While enjoy the show, I keep thinking.
" WHY RUSSELL SO STUPID ONE? " hahs :D

Actually the left one is Russell's dad, Benny, they so happy when they see each other.
finally, father and son reunion :D so sweet, aww ..
Actually, Groovy suppose to be Russell's dad but last minute changes.

There are so many fun games all day long.
and there are stalls selling dog's clothing and stuff, very cheap :D

It was such a tiring day, but yet extreamly fun.
I got to get close to so many different kinds of dog.
and Russell won quite a lot of prizes and stuff too :D

Dogathon 2008 made it into The Malaysia Book of Records,
being the single largest gathering of dogs, hooray !
with more than 600 dogs present at the park.
it was a wonderful day for dog sports, great games and activities for everyone.
looking forward to the next dogathon next year, yipeeeee !
